Motel 6 Newport News, VA

We found our room to be just right. The beds were great and the linens. .there was lots of space to walk our dog. She was happy. Last night we had stayed at a different motel.in town And it was awful. We were thankful to have nice smiling faces here. ❤️

Loved the hotel stay. Price was good! He was sensitive to our needs and gave us a quiet room… wonderful experience! Will return soon

Horrible! Do not ever stay in this hotel!!! I paid for two nights through Expedia, which I am glad I did to guarantee my stay and obtain support with customer service complaint. The front desk manager and staff attempted to have me arrested for theft of services erroneously and continued to threaten, intimidate and harass me via phone calls and at my door, even after Motel 6 and Expedia confirmed my payment and instructed the staff to call the vendor hotline for payment processing assistance. They attempted to enter my room and for my safety I called the police to escort me while I vacated my room. The room was filthy with dead bugs on the floor and in the tub which was the least of my complaints. This place is run by dangerous people whom attempted to extort money from me, falsely charged

My daughter had a baby so I got a room close to the hospital that was pet friendly. The 1st room they gave me was awful with live bugs running off the bed when I walked in so they gave me another room n said it was the last room they had available and if there was any issues with it I could change in the morning. The bathroom had no door on it at all there was dead bugs on the floor as posted in the photos above. The heat only blew cold air so I had to go to the dollar general the next morning and buy a blanket and a space heater. The thin blanket on the bed wasn't enough to keep my dog warm. I was so disappointed in this I will never tell anyone to stay here!!!! The only thing good about this place is the location is 6 minutes from the hospital.

The check-in took longer than expected, the person behind the desk did not know what he was doing. The room was not clean, nor were the towels. I saw a roach in. my room the only night I was there. The deadbolt on the door did not work, and part of the door stopper was removed, so it could not be used. The window curtain was too short, allowing people passing by to see inside of my room, even when it was drawn. I checked out two days early after finding a better hotel. Melita at the front desk was very helpful and apologetic, and was able to refund me for the two nights I did not stay.
