Motel 6 Kansas City, MO - Airport

This place can be summed up in just a few words filthy, dilapidated, and a complete waste of hard earned money.|When we travel with pets we usually chose motel 6, but this ONE smears a good name.|They called me TWICE earlier in the day while I was at work to confirm we still wanted the room we had paid for days in advance. Perhaps that should have been a red flag for me. |I cleaned hotel rooms for several years under a white glove so when we check in somewhere I know my first step is to pull sheets back, and catch surfaces from an angle with plenty of light....... And my word, all it took was opening the door.| These ppl had shoved another bed in a single bed room to make it a dbl. The bed closest to the door was RIGHT UP AGAINST the AC unit. It's OK. They take a $40 deposit hold on your credit card on top of the room charge. It's supposed to be credited back in 10 days. The room ceiling, walls, floors are pretty good. The bed was comfortable. There wasn't a tub which was disappointing.

What they don't tell you is that your going to have tave a $60 dollar deposit on top of their room. You will not get this back for 5 to 7 days!!! The comforter was stained, lamps broke, and to top off the spit in the face with the deposit 😳 check out was moved to 10 am. So overall completely dissatisfied.i feel ripped off

STAY AWAY FOR YOUR HEALTH I'M IN THE HOSPITAL WITH BREAYH I thought the owner/manager might just need some help. I went to the Leavenworth Veterans Administration and talked with HUDVASH and the Vocational Rehabilitation counselors. The place is rundown and dirty. I was working on getting 6 Veterans to help the owner get the motel back in good shape. The Veterans Administration would even pay their wages for the first six months. They would have scrubbed the place top to bottom repainted the entire facility and repaired all the sidewalks and structure. They would also send over 4 housekeepers that actually cleaned the place instead of yelling at the owners customers. After it was cleaned up HUDVASH would provide vouchers from homeless Veterans. It could have been a win/win for everyon
