Motel 6 Jacksonville, FL - South

I recently stayed at Motel 6 Jacksonville, FL - South on Philips Highway, and overall it was a decent, no-frills experience. The location at 8285 Philips Hwy is convenient, especially if you’re driving. It’s right off the main road and close to restaurants, gas stations, and shopping spots, so getting around Jacksonville was pretty easy. Parking was simple and I didn’t have any issues finding a spot near my room. Check-in was quick and straightforward. The front desk staff was polite and got me set up without any hassle. The room itself was basic but clean. It had the essentials — a comfortable bed, TV, small bathroom, and good air conditioning, which was definitely needed in the Florida heat. Positive: Nothing Negative: Roaches, mold stains on the ceiling, dirty bath area, rusty entrance door which didn't close correctly.This was documented with pictures and we started a refund claim with you which you screwed up on,but have been ignored and the claim has been rejected

The dirtiest, rusty, raggedy hotel I ever stayed. I did not bathe or sit on the toilet in fear of catching a disease. The towels looked dirty. Black stuff blowing from a/c unit onto the bed. No remote for the tv and look like drug activity. I gave my dog a bath on the way home because she slept on the floor & I didn't want those germs in my house.

The staff Susan, the new manager Kenosha, and Alexis are very nice but the place is discussing roaches, dirty walls, some lights work some don't broken outlets, burn holes in the blankets, floors will turn your socks black. Smells like cigarette smoke curtains stink just a dirty place have to wait for towels to get washed when the cleaning ladies don't restock the towels in rooms. Broken buttons on some ac units, instead of getting rid of the great staff they need to replace the maintenance and cleaning ladies, they don't take any pride in there work. It's fair to say that motel6 has lost its way. No one at the front desk for over 30 minutes, Then none of the keys worked, No towels in the room, TV wouldn't work after two remote control controls were tested. Cockroaches curing everywhere shower and sink wouldn't drain couldn't take a shower the next day. No trash cans in the room whatsoever so trash was everywhere. This place was as good as a dump site.
