Motel 6 Jacksonville, FL - Orange Park

Front desk guy was nice and thats the only good thing I can say saddly. Didnt expect much, weve stayed at cheap motels before but my God this is the nastiest. We are Not picky or uptight people. They dont have comforters just a thin sheet. I was cold all night. Sheets were all stained and disgusting. Floors were filthy not swept at all and definitely not mopped. The shower... omg... hahaha uhm... not one clean area. No exaggeration. I would shower outside with a hose rather than step in that thing. I didnt take pics but should have and wasnt going to write review but google kept asking so here we are lol. it was 2am when we arrived and would have left but we were exhausted. Absolutely despicable business. The website clearly states, "All guests registering must be at least 18 years of age and must present valid picture identification." My son was traveling and needed a place to sleep for a few hours so I helped him book the room. When he arrived, they refused to let him check in because he wasn't 21. I know most hotels require someone 21 or older, but my son has stayed at Motel6s before and they've never given him trouble. Don't advertise 18 on the website and then not honor that.

Positive: Location Negative: Housekeeping don't speak or understand english...lawn service weedwacked grass all over side of rental vehicle. Inspections are now done lady said people stealing towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Not at front desk when needed, chg'd room 3x

The Mexican lady who works Sunday at like 2 AM is very nice. Very informative and make sure that I have a decent room I have came to this hotel 4 to 5 times for the past of 2025. I usually come with my colleagues, our boss gets us a room I was at this property for two weeks and I had to buy my own tissue nowhere in the paper that I sign did it say that this property tells you to do so much but they do so little for you management is very sorry. They never try to fix your problem. They always try and tell you why there is a problem I am not a confrontational person so I just checked out without even asking for a refund, but this property seriously needs new management. I feel like the workers there are good even the housekeepers but I do feel like this property seems like there is no manage

So I'm gonna be 100% honest I am not gonna be biased at all these pictures online do not match their rooms but their rooms are pretty good. I can't say that this property has the potential to be great but I do feel like it needs to be new management. I do feel like the old managers were more stern than this new manager. The reason I say this is because we are having to buy tissue because we are told by management at front desk that we are only allowed to get tissue once a week which is insane when I'm paying $400 a week to stay here There's no one never in the office between the hours of 7 AM to 9 AM . I swear it seems to be morning shift does nothing and the afternoon shift does everything I always have to wait for towels or I always have to wait for a key renewal. I feel like titles were
