Located in a great spot walking distance for fast food & restaurants .only a few min drive to lake Ray Hubbard and the harbor! They are conveniently located right off the highway. . My husband and I almost always stay at budget motels because we travel often and want to keep costs down. I'm definitely not picky and have stayed at several Motel 6 locations. I don't expect anything amazing. My only real requirement is a decent level of cleanliness and a working lock on the door. A note for everyone who has never stayed at one before: they don't provide shampoo, irons, mircrowaves, coffee makers in room, hair dryers, breakfast in the morning, etc. They provide a place to sleep, a shower, and coffee in the lobby in the mornings. A lot of them don't have fridges but this one did. I don't get why people complain about it when the info can easily be found on their website and all over the internet. Something bit me on my face while I was sleeping here. No hot water They lock the air conditioning to where the heater doesn’t go above 69 It was absolutely miserable outside and inside, with the weather outside being in the 30s & my room, not going above 69° the kids, and I had to sleep in our coats and with multiple blankets. Thank God, my family and I didn’t encounter roaches, but we had spiders. That’s probably what bit me on my cheek. Completely not worth $70+ when you don’t even get all of the amenities. No microwave & the microwave in the lobby is absolute garbage It doesn’t even have a handle to open the microwave door. Someone asked me for meth while I was here and I witnessed a fight upon our departure The man who asked me for meth, I guess found what he was looking for because

(I am not a robot nor was I paid to write this review at all! Though.. thinking about it.. being compensated for writing reviews WOULD be a great side hustle. Anyway, on to the review) This Motel 6 is, surprisingly, very good for the price! The front desk clerks are very helpful and knowledgeable. The cleaning staff/maintenance are also very helpful. The location is great as it's next to a Waffle House and Sonic, along with being only minutes away from a Walmart. The rooms are, largely, well kept (though, I did stay in a room once where the deadbolt wasn't screwed in properly.. good thing I keep my tool kit. you may also see the occasional cigarette hole on your blankets but I'll take that over any of the worse alternatives one can have in their bed. there are also no microwaves in rooms
