La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Northeast-Arboretum

Staff GREAT! Location PERFECT! Rooms RELAXING! Only problem is breakfast. I mean for $100 I feel the breakfast should be better and fresh or at least made with care. Hashbrowns are old and gummy and BENDABLE ; literally folds and don’t break, bread taste funny and sausages are not good AT ALL. Scared to feed it to my kid. I feel they could do way better with food, that someone has to digest, especially if children eats it too. The staff don’t eat it so I don’t think they care.

Upon checking in the front desk person was not the most personable. She barely welcomed my family and I. We were given our room key to find out upon entering the room that there was an occupant already in the room.||||Our room was not the cleanest, as hair was seen in the tub and sink area.||||The rooms could use an updating. Tubs are stained, the carpet is dirty.

Friendly, efficient, and professional check-in. Pet friendly for a very reasonable fee of $25 per pet (I had small animals, larger may be more), 2 pet limit. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A/C is a bit loud, but quickly became white noise for me. Amazing job of keeping the room cold, even in Texas heat. Indoor pool and gym. Free wi-fi and full breakfast with waffle maker. Free on-site parking. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

I was only here for one night. This hotel is ok, not the greatest but not terrible. The location is a little sketchy but convenient for where I needed to go during my stay. My room was so musty smelling, which bothered me a bit. Everything in the room was clean, but it felt worn down. Hotel staff were nice and welcoming. Breakfast was a plus!
