Motel 6 Gainesville, GA

I stayed at the Motel 6 for two days. The time I had there was peaceful and serene. The motel is very quiet, so I was able to get some much needed rest. Check in was super easy. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cindy was my absolute favorite! Anytime I had to call, make a change or if I simply had a question, she was ready to assist me. The smile on her face alone made my day. I will definitely be going back! Thank you Motel 6 for such a pleasant stay! Keep up the great work!!! Nisaa C.

This motel 6 is old. Alot of people in and out all hours . Very big in size and rough area. The staff gets the best rating out of this review. They are so nice.. The rooms are dirty old and out of date . But I think they do the best they can with the size and all the people coming in and out.

I have stayed there before and enjoyed it so I went back again. This time not so much.|The evening prior to my arrival Sept. 2 I booked and PAID for my room using Hotels.com|When I arrived at the property to check in the next day Sept. 3 I told the front desk person that I had taken care of room already with Hotels.com. I was told that the room was only reserved and was charged for the room again. I have the receipt from Hotels.com. When I realized the issue I contacted Motel 6 customer service ,I was told to contact Hotels.com because they 2x charged me when in fact I was charged the second time by the property in Gainesville, GA|I hope this is seen and they do the right thing.

Had to wait 15 minutes for the desk service to open the front doors. Room was horrid, smoke free still smoked in. Hair was all over, bugs lived everywhere we just stayed in their room. I asked for more towels and I was told they were coming around and to wait….still never got a towel. We paid for a queen and got two full beds. Just stay away from booking here. If you want cheap, it’d be cleaner pitching a tent at a camp site. We considered sleeping in the car but instead drove an hour away for a better hotel.

Positive: Location to main highway. Negative: The clerk was not at the front desk to check me in. I finally had to call the hotel number and tell them I was at the desk to check in. The hotel clientele were concerning.
