The Guest Lodge Gainesville

The entire grounds are always clean and well kept. 24 hour assistance at the front desk, with a variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase. Breakfast is typical, but it's free and easy. Rooms and housekeeping were great. We stayed starting the New Year for about 10 days while having work done on the house. The pool wasn't open but still clean and full of water as a pretty centerpiece for the hotel with sitting areas outside and around the pool. Plenty of lighting for safety and eye appeal. Individual doors to the outside to cut back on hallway noise, and a cute doormat for each room. Comfortable, clean, safe and secure. I really enjoyed my stay.

WE ARE A REPEAT CUSTOMER HERE AT THE GUEST LODGE. The quaint style of the old drive up hotel and offset pool area has been revitalized into a great place to stay when in Gainesville, Ga. The simple access to the city center is great. The property has long standing maintenance and greenery that is soothing to the weary traveler. The breakfast area is neat & concise with the staff assisting in serving you food choices adds to the non messy sloppy areas of most hotel grazing breakfast spots. The room was clean, smelled refreshed & the bedding was clean. The expectation was surpassed by the front desk help at check in and when we departed the next am. The staff were both gracious & kind to us weary travelers from Florida. The value is in the fulfilled expectations and the good nights slee

The front desk is very nice and helpful! We have stayed here before and enjoyed it just the same. One thing that was different was the last room had vinyl flooring, and this one had carpet. The carpet had a musty smell, so we went to Dollar Tree and picked up some air freshener.

Comfortable and clean but the room had no towels. Had to go down and request them and the body wash and shampoo containers were filled with same liquid.

I was very pleased with this hotel and it's cleanliness and how much effort they recently put into renovating this place. I felt very pleased with quality of room and service for the price. I recommend this hotel to anyone.
