Hilton Garden Inn Gainesville

I stay at A lot of Hiltons and I have to say this was one of the worst number one. They had a lot of construction going on which caused a lot of dust everywhere which had me coughing every day then they charge $15 for a breakfast and it’s no more than what you would get free at most hotels. The staff was amazing. They were nice, but would I stay here again probably not.

They really dropped the ball at check out..it was horrible. my ride was running a little behind and they basically told me (you need to go to the lobby) except I’m disabled and not able to carry all my things and my doggie..so cold and left me with a bad impression. I will never stay at Hilton ever again!!they were also renovating.

Positive: Beds and pillows were so comfortable! Multiple charging outlets for our phones and devices. Helpful Negative: The bathroom lighting was very dim! Had to move to the window with a mirror to apply makeup.

The hotel staff varied from friendly to rude. The front desk staff were helpful, but the woman manning the extremely overpriced breakfast buffet was snippy and minimally helpful. We had pre-purchased the breakfast package as part of our stay based on the online images of the the service. The continental breakfast consisted of watery eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, oatmeal. and pastries. Waffles are NOT included in the buffet but can be purchased for an additional fee.||The rooms were extremely dated and are not at all as featured in the images posted by management earlier this year (2025). In fact, our window sheers were ripped, the bed comforters were snagged, the carpets are worn and dirty, the walls are stained and our first room smelled like a hospital (not like cleaning agents, but like s
