Apple Tree Inn

My roommate and I stayed two nights in late September, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. For starters, the property was absolutely STUNNING: pictures truly do not do it justice. When we went to check in, we were greeted by Abby (sorry if spelt incorrectly) who was absolutely AMAZING. She gave us so much insight on fun things to do in the area and made us feel very welcome. She was iconic! Shoutout to Abby. The Ostrich room was open our first night and had great vibes with a local band and tasty cocktails and mocktails, with a very knowledgeable bartender. We got to meet the owner’s husband (Toph) who was great to talk to! The rooms were very comfortable - very old New England charm. We had a great view of the mountain in the lodge. Absolutely wonderful, many acres to walk about. Wonderful main room with roaring fireplace and an outdoor veranda with a fire pit. I understand the food and entertainment is very good. I just happen to stay Sunday through Tuesday the days that the restaurant and entertainment was not available.

Firstly if you are going to Tanglewood, this is the spot.. right across the street. It’s perfect for that. The walk back would include a pretty good hill in the dark. In fact, if hills or stairs are hard for you this is not the place. Lovely setting. Main building plus two lodges with a bunch of rooms. Very nice pool with Mountain Views. Continental breakfast is great.,yogurt fruit, fresh muffins, hard boiled eggs, various toasts, coffee, tea, juice.. nice. There’s a nice dining area with evening music that we never got a chance to experience. |Room in one of the lodges was just a room. Noisy wall AC. A second chair would have been nice. No fridge. Coffee maker is on first floor. It’s a keurig for everyone to use. Bathroom was fine, water pressure etc good. Tiniest shampoo bottles ever and

I usually go for modern hotels, but staying here totally won me over. The inn has so much charm and feels really connected to Lenox’s history. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with super comfy beds and soft, crisp sheets. I was traveling with my sister, a friend, and her cousin, so I got to check out a few different rooms - each one was lovely. Breakfast was simple but so good: muffins, homemade jam and muffins, fruit, yogurt, and a coffee/tea bar that’s stocked all day. Being able to walk to Tanglewood in minutes was a huge bonus! Highly recommend if you're looking for something charming, easy, and relaxing.

I can’t say enough good things about The Apple Tree Inn! I stayed in May and had such a wonderful experience that I booked another trip back in July. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, and the homemade muffins are absolutely amazing. The staff are so attentive and kind, which made both of my stays even more special. Everything about my time here made me feel relaxed and cared for. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
