Positive: The staff was very friendly and helpful, cleanliness and the events I attended was within 15-20 minutes. Negative: Just the shower head needs replacing. Other than that, everything was good. I would stay again.

The hotel is under major renovation. There is not one working ice machine in the entire building. It was suggested that they go get ice at the store, and we were told, that’s not possible. The room phone is not connected and at least one outlet in the room didn’t work. There were only two hangers in a pretty sizable closet. If you are without a car and would like to walk to anything nearby, there isn’t anything nearby. And a positive note, the beds were comfy. The room was clean and the shower was hot. Breakfast was included and adequate to start the day.

Check in was super easy and the man at the desk was really friendly. The rooms are pretty small. They are about the size of a cruise ship cabin. But the name of the hotel says it all, Microtel. There was construction going on but they are was barely any noise and my room was right at the construction area. There was an issue with the TV not connecting to the DirecTV but after checking it was just the HDMI cord so it was an easy fix. Everything was very clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable.

Rooms were clean but very musty, smelled like urine. We had to use our own deodorizer to make it smell a little better in the middle of the night. We bought drinks and brought them back to the room, and needed ice. Front desk told us there was no ice machine on property. They were under construction, fixing the facade of the hotel, so hopefully good changes are in the way!
