Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Eagan/St Paul

I booked on priceline.com, confirmed my reservation the day of check in due to late arrival. Staff was understanding and accommodating. The location is great, close proximity to big retailers and restaurants. Free parking and complimentary breakfast. My room was on the third floor next to the elevator and it was pretty quiet. I placed a food delivery order and wasn't there to accept it. The front desk staff was very nice to accept it and hold it for me. Now the on the negative aspect of this stay....the room reeked of Marijuana, my assumption is that smell is from the carpet and walls and ceiling. The bed, bed sheets, and pillows were clean, and fresh smelling. The toilet clogs. I had to request and go get from front desk a plunger that I had to keep for the entirety of my stay. It's

Good location for an overnight and hospital procedure the next day. Reception was pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Hotel is clean, but doesn't sparkle, looks tired. No color anywhere--fresh flowers etc. Upper level hall carpets are stained, lighting is low. Rooms are clean, linens are comfortable. Hot water for shower could not be attained--water was luke warm despite attempts to increase heat. Shower did have good pressure. Guests looked a little shady--sitting outside on rocks smoking. Room walls are not well insulated so noise from adjoining rooms and hall could be heard from in my room. The overall experience left me happy to leave. I will not choose this hotel again.

Positive: Very clean and fresh. Staff was efficient and kind. Rooms are small but just fine for an overnight stay. Very good breakfast. Negative: Staff member was unable to supply us with an extra pillow — because the hotel was full?

Just horrible service....we'll not so much bad service...just alot of rudeness in everyway!! manager stands 2 feet from the front door smoking talking about needing to sterilize my room because i have a little dog which his employees told me was fine and booked me and my dog for a week!! very poor management, yuk! then they move the motel drunk next door to intentionally keep us in our room! the building is empty but put the drunk loud man right next door! scrappy management and some of the staff Just rude...talk to your employers... dont blame me!!! dog poop all over the yard!(not mine) no room service because of the supposed dog dander hu unreal! Just awful place!

The building reeks of weed and smoke. Hard to even tolerate being our room. Our walls were visibly dirty and gross. There is visible damage/poorly maintained things in the room. Even little things weren’t cared for like the fridge still had its protective plastic half ripped off and the tv wasn’t mounted straight. You can just tell ownership doesn’t care much about the product.
