Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Eagan, MN

Got checked in, went to our room to find someone elses dirty underwear and shorts laying on top of our "clean" towels in our bathroom. Went to the front desk to ask them to address this issue and the gentleman stated while we were gone they would go remove the clothing. Got back a few hours later and they were still there. I went up to the front counter and spoke with a different hotel worker and he came up to the room and removed the clothing. He stated he would give us a 20% refund (which was not enough in my opinion) and we would see the refund at checkout. That never happened. Came back a week later to retrieve our vehicle and the desk worker was incredibly rude (who was the first person I spoke with upon arrival) and stated he would have the manager call to address this issue. The only reason I gave it 2 was because the rooms and tv are big. Also the dude with the brown hair up front was very nice. The queen suite was not cleaned properly there was food and things on the counter next to the closet. I’ve not checked out the pool. I should have checked reviews. The breakfast lady with a small baby with her needs cooking lessons because the food was gross. The egg omelets and sausage we burnt and dry. The potatoes weren’t cooked well at all. They barely had anything filled in. At 8:45 am they had only enough to serve 2 people. Cereals seemed like the main entree. They had old fruit and some bagels no cream cheese manana she said. Then she started cleaning 10 or so minutes before breakfast but she was sure to get herself food before she filled stuff and wrapped it u

Positive: Not much Negative: I’ve stayed here many times and I have to say it has gone down hill. Poor upkeep on maintenance. I stayed for the hot tub, one was completely shut down and the other was barely working and was discussing, clumps of hair floating in it.

The hotels advertises 2 hot tubs along with an indoor pool. One of the hot tubs was roped off and empty and the other contained hot water, but did not jet. Small children were playing in it during our entire 4 day stay. Very disappointing. By Monday morning, most of the breakfast options were depleted - including basics like milk. The beds are not very comfortable and the rooms have no seating options other than 1 uncomfortable desk chair. Towels are rough and limited in the room - although front desk staff did provide additional towels upon request. There was a snow storm on Sunday. Plows were doing the parking lot at 10am Monday as guests were attempting to load their vehicles and leave. The entryway sidewalk was not shoveled well. The staff was nice and my family enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel itself is run down and could use a deep clean plus new carpet, and better ventilation (it’s a very damp place). The housekeeping staff was incredibly kind and does good work because the rooms are clean. It’s the hallways, carpets, windows, etc that are all very run down, have dead bugs in them, lots of stains, etc.
