Home2 Suites by Hilton Eagan Minneapolis

We were disappointed. It looked so nice from the photos, and the exterior was nice. But we booked two adjoining rooms (apparently the only ones in the hotel) and both were dirty. There were greasy fingerprints all over the interior doors; the entry door to one room looked like a huge amount of paint(?) was scratched off. Surfaces were not clean; the couches and chairs were stained - YUCK. The bathrooms were not as clean as I expected. The beds were horrible and felt like I was sleeping on springs. After being there for several days, we requested housekeeping (who were on our floor at the time) pick up our room, refresh the shampoo and provide new towels. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. My digital key worked without issue. Breakfast was average for a Home2 Suites but not as quality as I have seen at other Home2 Suites properties. My parking fee was not waived as it has been at previous properties (Homewood Suites Wauwatosa/Milwaukee the day before) as a result of my diamond status. Shower pressure and temp was great. the thermostat went down to 64° which was comfortable until it wasn't. there was no constant fan option so my thermostat turned on and off all night resulting in an uncomfortable stay. The bathroom door in room 319 was not installed properly resulting in an inability to close the bathroom door for complete privacy. the awkward angle that resulted when the door was closed was compromised and not up to the standard

Ourjaniese our airport shuttle driver was a delight at 4:30 a.m. from Home 2 suites! Friendly and a reap joy. The hotel was decent, staff very accommodating. Nice parking area. Would recommend for a park and fly.

We had a great visit, clean room, great customer service, decent breakfast, reliable transportation and safe parking. Both our drivers, Ounjaniese and Joe we're safe and timely in their delivery and pick up of us to and from the airport. Highly recommended!

Positive: Nothing Negative: Loud and noisy with 40 kids. Fitness center not open 24 hours. Not listed on any site except their own. Very dissatisfied, rude staff. Do yourself a favor and book another hotel.
