Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baltimore BWI Airport

Spent a few weeks at this location. It was one of the lowest priced hotels in the area. Upon entering, it felt quaint and cozy. I loved that i could sit on the little nook in the window. There was enough closet and storage space. The shower was great! Stayed hot for a while which was good because me and my fam like long showers. Staff were very nice and respectful throughout my stay except for 1. While I was there he was pleasant to me but he began agitating us a bit as we were gathering our things to check out. It was uncalled for honestly. Housekeeping was very stingy with towels and handrags. I recently stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites near BWI Airport, Linthicum Heights, MD, and had a very positive experience. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and everything was well-maintained more than I expected at this price point.||One of the best parts of the stay was the free airport shuttle, which was reliable and saved me time and money. Positive: Location is good if you are staying for a quick business trip overnight but definitely not if staying for more than 3 days. Negative: Everything in entire place is old. Nothing is like pix advertised online. didn?t like that they limited coffee machine options. Breakfast is pandemic-era style & the place smells bad. housekeeping only available early so u can?t sleep in if u want it

The hotel uses a model of having the same person operating the airport shuttle and running the front desk at the same time. Not the most efficient. You will get notifications that you can check in and out online, including sharing your ID through the online check in, but that's not true. The hotel itself doesn't interface with the Wyndham interface, and they actually took a PHOTOCOPY of my passport when I checked in. Not cool. He waved me off as if it was silly to expect that I would use the fast easy online check in offered by the hotel brand, one that says you can just breeze in and grab keys after inputting your CC and ID details online. So they are taking your details but the hotel completely disregards this info and makes you endure a long and inefficient check in very late at night.

Pros: Great location, free shuttle to and from airport with affordable parking if you’re flying in/out ($7/day). Nicely sized room with decent amenities. It was clean and clearly the last person there favored perfume which I didn’t object to. Cons: guy at the front desk could stand to have a bit more personality. You are greeted with the smell of the devil’s lattice soon as you walk in. I personally don’t object but others might. Water pressure for the shower was pitiful if you want a hot shower. It was a bit more than a sprinkle.
