Meadowlark Mobile Home & RV Park

GREAT PLACE: We stayed at Meadowlark RV Park for 11 months while I attended the Naval War College in Newport, RI. Meadowlark RV Park is conveniently located about a mile from all of the Newport/Middletown beaches and is about 8 minutes from downtown Newport. It is a combination of a mobile home park and RV park. Its best features are: 1) Location to attractions/town 2) Camp host and office support 3) Friendly camping neighbors. The park is next to a nice little park where I would go for walks with my wife and dog during warmer weather. In early 2023, they installed astroturf for each campsite which made for a nice patio area. The camp has a laundry room and no showers. We travel in a 43 ft Winnebago Tour. We are very happy with the general location and service of this park. With that said, if you book a site in the Electric only section of the park be advised that the spaces are very tight and the area is very rough. It is not unpleasant but it is very different from the pictures on the web site.

Great location and accessibility to Newport and beach. Good resteraunts close and pickleball! Park nextdoor has vintage gristmill and a restored old school house. Farms stands and rural area in vicity. Staff is friendly,accommodating and unique!

This was a very quiet well-run RV park that I spent a month enjoying. The staff was very helpful, they would even call you on Amazon packages would arrive. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Great location just minutes from the coast and downtown. With many attractions near by. Classic windmill down the street with trails. FHU but no showers most be self contained. Very clean and mud free sites.
