Legendary Waters Resort & Casino

The view from our room was amazing! Was a really cool spot ! We were not there for the casino whatsoever. Room was really nice ! Could definitely use some bigger tvs . Besides that zero complaints. The casino , is very small but interesting. Reminds me of something in north Vegas in a good way ! ( I also don’t gamble) Definitely will be coming back !

I've stayed here 2 times and have only been happy with my stay. The location is fabulous with sweeping views of Lake Superior all around. I feel that it is an excellent value for what you get compared to other hotels and inns on the water. The staff has always been friendly and I find the size of the property charming. It is not a typical large casino resort but I appreciate the ease of getting around, location and personable staff. I made an error when booking my room and they were extremely willing to work with me on and I even booked it through a 3rd party. I will definitely stay here again...without hesitation!

This review (and all of the 5 stars) are specifically directed towards Martin and his supervisor/boss. There is a wedding that we are currently booking rooms for and we had a couple people wanting to book some rooms for the event. We called and Martin answered. He was so kind a considerate the whole phone call. He checked 6 of the party’s reservations to make sure that they were all settled and reserved and he helped us book 2 new rooms on the same call since we were all in the same room. He was so patient with us for checking and reserving. We had heard before when friends tried calling to reserve they had someone on the phone, (not Martin), who did not even compare to the level of patience and professionalism that Martin offered us. Nice hotel. Staff was friendly. Decent rooms. Small quiet casino. Nice staff. They need to get their sports bar and restaurant open, this was the biggest disappointment of the stay. Snack food wasn't good and not much close by for food. Great location for the outdoors.

This was supposed to be a weekend away for relaxing with a little gambling. Hot tub out of order, in fact it was half frozen over. The hot tub goes outside for part of it, snow covered, the indoor part had leaves in it. Pool is open, but that is cold also. Wouldn’t recommend swimming in that either. If I had my phone, I would have taken pictures. Staff were very helpful and kind. We came in contact with Sheena and Katherine ( I think that was her name) manager. Name tags were flipped over 😬 They have about 100 slot machines. Overall ok.
