La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Secaucus Meadowlands

Stayed for 4 nights and the hallways were never cleaned and were quite dirty and smelled a bit. My room was cleaned once which was great but unfortunately when I returned in the evening the door had been left open, thankfully all was ok.  No bar or restaurant here but there a few within 15/20 min walk.  Bus stop right outside is great for trips to either Port Authority in New York or to MetLife Stadium/American Dream.  The room was big but very worn. The walls are paper thin. There was someone in the room beside me screaming which kept me awake. I would stay again as it was cheap and convenient for me but I think I would prefer to be closer to the bars and restaurants. There are more hotels there.

The first suite we got, the heater wasn't sufficient enough and as such most of the suite was cold. Called the front desk and they sent a service guy who checked for a few minutes whether the heater would put out sufficient heat for the suite, it did not. Service guy spoke to front desk and he came and told me the suite 1 floor below had very good heat and he was right. Went to take a shower the first night and noticed the shower head had poor water pressure and took a long time to warm up. Called front desk and told these issues and they told me when we leave they will check it. Left for several hours and came back and tried shower. We stayed at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Secaucus Meadowlands from October 13th to 18th, 2025, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what you’d expect for a hotel charging over €100 per night.||The entire property is run-down and clearly hasn’t seen any proper maintenance in a long time. From stained carpets throughout the hallways to visible mold on the bathroom ceiling, it’s clear the hotel is in serious need of renovation.||Let’s talk about the breakfast – absolutely terrible. Every single day, the exact same limited selection: dry bread, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, cornflakes, and cake. That’s it. No fresh fruit, no variety, and to top it off, everything is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, making the experience feel even cheaper.||The pool area looked so unclean

this was the worst hotel experience i have ever had in my LIFE. this place is disgusting & an absolute scam. first of all, i have bed bug bites ALL over my body. unfortunately i did not see the previous reviews talking about this, but please take this as your warning. i am so highly appalled, outraged and severely uncomfortable. this was supposed to be a nice christmas trip to the city, and it left me with dozens of itchy red bites all over my body to the point i cant even relax. Originally I thought it could have been something else as the were only on one cluster on my arm, but as you may know, bed bug bites take a few days to fully show the damage. My husband booked us a room here for our trip visiting the American Dream mall and we do NOT regret it! The hotel is outdated however it’s not the worst and our room was pretty cozy. Being from out of state, we were very unsure on how to navigate around Jersey however when we asked the sweet lady at the front desk, (I think her name was Emily!) she answered all of our questions and was so sweet about it! We were even thinking of driving there but she informed us there was a bus that went straight to the mall, 2 bucks a person!! Saves me that headache of driving! 😆😆😆 Great customer service from her! We will definitely be staying here again! All the staff is great and it was a pleasure staying here!
