La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Portland

Positive: My room was very clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. It was quiet. I was able to adjust the temperature to my liking and the fan was quiet. The bathroom was nicely arranged. It was the best motel/hotel experience in a long time Negative: The only negative thing was the hair conditioner container was empty

This hotel is exactly what it promises to be: solid, convenient, and drama-free. The rooms are average but clean; nothing luxury-level, nothing sketchy. Housekeeping operates on a every-three-day schedule instead of daily, which honestly wasn’t an issue for us. We were there to sleep and explore, not to rack up towel swaps, and the setup worked just fine. Check-in was easy and efficient, and the front desk staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. No hiccups, no awkward waits; everything ran smoothly. One of the biggest wins is the location. We were extremely close to downtown and walked pretty much everywhere, which made the stay feel effortless. Noise was also a non-issue; it was quiet and comfortable at night, which is really what matters. Is this a “rave about it for years” luxury

Checked in on line as was arriving very late. Really kind gentleman on reception checked me in quickly.|Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable & had everything I needed including multiple power and USB ports. Plenty of towels and nice smelling toiletries provided. |Breakfast was really good for a buffet. Choice of coffees and mini omelettes too.|Small shop was handy and pool/fitness facilities are good. I would say this is bordering on 3 star status.

Room looked clean & had a comfy bed (if you like a soft mattress) and that's about it on what's good here! They charge $10 to park in their own lot. The front desk woman was rude,the shower didn't get hot just luke warm. And it was definitely noisy since it's right next to the train so didn't sleep well. We've been to other La Quintas and liked them, unfortunately not this one.

Room at Quinta are alway good. Beds are great. Bath was spotless. Night audit guy was PHENOMENAL..only real drawback is no ftidge nor.mic in room. I can deal with that to 40 plus bucks. Room was juat over 105 ? Give or take WITH taxes. 2 Queen beds. . Desk guy is really Excellent. Cant say THAT enough. I would NOT say this is upscale or luxury, however it IS leveled up over the standards / more common (affordable) hotels.. but the beds alone are worth it.. so I would def say its entering the upscale /luxury levels for sure.
