La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jacksonville Mandarin

Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was hot and simple but enough that there is a variety. Our rooms were clean and did not want for anything. We had a very nice stay!

I had a very frustrating experience with La Quinta in Jacksonville. Before booking, I called the hotel directly to ask if they offered a Mayo Clinic patient rate. I was told they did, but because of an event going on they could not offer that rate to anyone at the time. I then asked if they would honor the price I was seeing online so I could book directly with them instead of using a third-party site, and they declined. During that same call I specifically asked what the incidental fee would be and was told it was $25, which seemed reasonable for a La Quinta. Based on that information, I booked the room through a third-party site. When I arrived around 2 PM, the hotel could not locate my reservation. Positive: Nice clean rooms just like the pictures on the internet. Negative: Pool was closed and that left the kids with nothing to do.

My recent stay with La Quinta was all one can ask for and more. I stopped by to give Peter and the incredible staff a Thank you for their true dedication to hospitality. Rooms Dining and Bathrooms were all Cleanly and inviting. This place is located next door to two fantastic Italian restaurants a winery a comedy zone and 1 mile up the street, Chophouse 13 , where I found a top tier butcher style steak dinner. It’s hard not to say, that this hotel IS the best bang for your buck in Jacksonville with daily hot breakfast fruits cereals muffins and more the location is 30 minutes from ANYwhere you want to be. Great location, but a bit loud. Cute pet friendly coffee shop within walking distance. Walking distance to Whole Foods was another bonus. Room was large and clean. Even with the traffic, had a great night’s sleep.
