La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Plano - The Colony

WOW! From the moment we entered the doors (even the concrete porch had been bleached and was spotless and smelled clean) we loved the colony! The man at the front desk was so friendly and knowledgeable. In a matter of minutes we were checked in. Grabbed some great courtesy water that had lemons in it, and headed for our room. The building is still new...carpet, elevator everything smells new. The room was WONDERFUL! The bed was perfect, the pillows were perfect. The bathroom and shower was relaxing. Off highway far enough...no noise. The Texas Roadhouse is 50 ft from front of building and Bubbas 33 across the parking lot. WalMart, Sonic and Whataburger just down the street. Buffet breakfast was great! The staff are all so nice. And the Staff and room service are all in nice uniforms. BEST

Great service, Hotel was very clean I have been having bad experiences with hotels recently however, my experience here was great. I have no complaints. I am very big on cleanliness. So the fact that I can rate their cleanliness a 9 out of 10. And breakfast was fantastic. They change it up every day. When you asked for great service, this is what you expect

Everything was okay. The room was clean, and check-in was easy. It’s worth it for a short stay, but the soundproofing isn’t very good. I could hear snoring from the next room.

I needed a room at the last minute so we decided to stay here. Originally I booked a room for the wrong location online and their customer service team was very helpful when I needed to cancel, even offering to book my room at the correct location. The check in process was very quick and easy. They provide breakfast in the morning and different varieties of coffee. There’s also water available in the lobby which I thought was very nice of them to offer. They also have a little snack area in case you need it. Our room was great and had everything we needed for a quick stay. Thank you to the staff at this hotel for making this stay so nice!

I have stayed at this hotel before and was satisfied but this time it was just okay. First off, once i got my husband to take down the pull out bed, i realized there were stains on top and bottom of the bed. We ere tired from driving 5 hours and just wanted a shower and bed so I had my 9 year old sleep on the kind size bed with my husband and I. I requested a room on the 4th floor, however when I got there I was told there were only rooms on the second floor. We were in room 218. It’s on the side with the highway and Texas road house so we could hear all the noise. Also the person above us was heavy footed and it took a while for us to fall asleep. Additionally, the blanket in the closet was worn and needed to be thrown in the trash.
