Holiday Inn Express & Suites Plano - The Colony, an IHG Hotel

I had an amazing two-night stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and extremely attentive. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the hotel offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything fresh each day, and the small details really made the experience feel special. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

I don’t usually give 5 stars, but Kat (daytime concierge) and the whole staff are excellent. Four stars for the room, because, well it’s a Holiday Inn Express. The location is near anything you need, food, clothes, cigars, gas, whatever. Everything is very clean and housekeeping was exceptional. We had the faucet break while we were there and they had it fixed within a couple of hours. Definitely will stay here again.

We traveled to Dallas for a dance competition; we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and our room was ready. It was very clean and quiet, and the TV was nice. Device charging ports are plentiful and the overnight/all night fan/AC was really nice. We all slept well. The breakfast was really nice - several hot choices! We will definitely stay here again and will try Holiday Inn Express hotels at other locations. Highly recommend!

I stayed here before but this time my roomSmelled like sweat. I could hear everything happening outside and tvs was loud in next door room. Walls have no soundproof. A/c was making a lot of noise. Breakfast was good and server was great! Front desk people were nice specifically kat. I don’t know if I would stay here again.

Staff is Awesome. They always go out of their way. I recommend, visit this hotel. They will take care of your needs. Zoey did a Awesome job taking care of me today. 1/6/26 She deserves a raise for her work performance. I gave her a 5.0. Greg Kelsey
