La Quinta by Wyndham Haywood Mall-Near Greenville Downtown

While this hotel could certainly use a renovation to bring it up to the standards of a modern LaQuinta hotel, it was a great stay for the price paid! The breakfast was well-stocked and much appreciated, the room was in good condition, the parking lot was well-lit and convenient, and the location itself was fantastic--a very short drive to downtown GVL, and close to Haywood Mall and lots of good restaurants. My partner and I would definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel is perfect. Within 5-10 minutes of whatever you could need- restaurants, shopping, downtown, petrol. The hotel is obviously dates, but we loved the huge rooms. Hot showers, cool air, heat and lots of space for suitcases and storing clothes. There is a mini fridge, microwave, and single pod coffee maker. Quiet locations too. Included breakfast is your typical continental breakfast. The staff were super friendly and professional.

I've stayed here before but the prices were around 65ish. It is nothing exciting, a roof over your head, ive always felt safe, and it s clean enough. But smells of dogs. Today I rented again, and they stated rhey have a new owner. The rates are now $132 a night, or around $100, the same employees are here yet the male was rude. I like to beno. The 1st floor, but he stated the 1st floor is for pets only. I dont like staying on a higher floor, for safety purposes, but the elevator is super slow during non peak times. They have cut trees (which i really liked) placed ball park lights out for security, thats a plus, they now lock the side doors, which is good, but all that does not Constituent $100 plus a night. My mother is handicapped and in complete heart failure. The heat went out at her house so I booked her a room for 2 nights while it was repaired. During her stay, they respectfully acknowledged the “Do Not Disturb” sign and my instruction that she would be unable to answer the door for housekeeping or other. They handled my delayed check out today, coming from my work (where I started at 4 am) to bring her home close to 2pm, very kindly. Thank you SO much La Quinta! Both the room and the staff here were very gracious 👍

The hotel wasn’t the cleanest. There was trash all on the floor by the door we came in. The room was clean enough. The remote to the tv didn’t work. Breakfast was so so. Missed not having any fruit other than apples. Bananas would have been great.
