Knights Inn Metairie

It is a place to stay if you don’t want to spend too much money. That being said, I have spent time at motels that had a better price with better accommodations. I know that not all demands can be met. First I requested a downstairs room overlooking the parking lot, didn’t get it. Second I requested a non smoking room and it said it was but it smelled super strong of cigarettes, third the door to the bathroom was broken, as in it didnt even close 100% or lock. And for the cleanliness, it needs work. There were hairs in the bathroom and the tub clogged up even with the shower head on. There were leaks all over the building. So like I stated, it’s a place to sleep but don’t expect much.

An interesting combination of economic (read: cheap) and decent for what you should expect. They appear to struggle to make the facilities and your stay nice while cutting every corner possible, and they do a respectable job of it. Clean (that's mainly what you want to know, right? :-) Front desk guy was sure to point out free breakfast is AT 8. I can't speak on the quality of that because they were putting away the last of it(cereal is all we saw, I'm sure there was more) at 9:20 when we got there. Staff are darn nice, and usually don't notice or care about that. One of our beds had a little disfigurement within the mattress, but was fine. Pool seemed nice. Ground in courtyard well kept.

A decent, no frills hotel for a low price. The decor may be outdated, but the room was clean and even had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A basic breakfast was included (5-9AM) which included cereal, waffles, and toast. Nice big pool in the courtyard. Overall a fine value!

Stayed for 2 nights, and it was fine. It served our needs. The room was clean, shower sucked though barely any hot water. The breakfast was a joke and the other guest were rude. But what do expect for the price. If you just need to rest your head for a night and do not want to spend a fortune this will work

I stayed there two days the first day I stayed in a smoking room it smelled real bad like smoke the second day I stayed in another room I ordered a pizza and left it on the table when I went back for another piece it was full of cockroaches in both rooms the tub did not drain very well I will never go back to that place the only good thing about that place. the gentleman that runs it is a very nice person
