Knights Inn Jacksonville at Dix Ellis Trail

So we have been looking at homes....needed to take a break and Knights inn came up as afordable...so VIC the desk clerk was a great guy but opened the room smelled ...stains all over the carpet...phone did not work nor the TV and then there was a large dead roach by the dresser....he changes rooms...couldn't walk in the aspect of a smokers room was that bad...go back to VIC...he comes and says let's check this room...nope smelled like pot...next one bugs were crawling up the walls...another musty...then he opened one and ok tired double and as soon as my son pulled back the covers we were out....5 rooms....I think we were pretty laid back and patient but when VIC credited back my card we pushed 2 hours to goto a hotel in Georgia where we were looking at 3 propertys...I had to take pics.

I travel around the US for business. This place is terrible, from the front desk to the room. Stay away, far away. The state of Florida should shut this place down. The condition of the rooms is deplorable. The grounds are nothing short of nasty. The staff are rude from the management to the front desk help. Drug deals in the parking lot, fights in the rooms, folks yelling and screaming at all hours of the night. The police visited the location several times during my short stay there. I WILL never go back, NEVER. STAY AWAY!!!!

Positive: Only a few staff that was. Very nice good hospitality Negative: We got kicked out from there this one lady very rude she didn't give us a chance n were going to make the late fee payment so she was very rude to us and told us to leave i would recommend if they get rid of that one lady

Humble in appearance, had rules of staying in hotel changed by manager. Had new neighbors who asked if I had food I fed them was kicked out of hotel for it cuz them being in my room violated the rules that he changed while staying there. Refused a refund was told to sue him This disabled veteran has slept on the ground during frost warning cuz this manager changed his rules and refused to pay me any refund. Laughing said he was the law although Florida statutes state he had to refund me for any prepaid nights cancelled by management. He thought he was funny. Don't stay here.

This inn doesn't deserve any stars. It's terrible, outdated, it stinks like old men and mold, door are raggedy, toilet won't flush, towels and linen isn't clean, smells like mold and it stinks. Floors are soft and stained, it's a none smoking room but cigarette holes are in the covers and a pile of ashes are next to the bed. Rust in the walls and sockets. Just very unclean and distasteful, the pictures on the site is misleading. Curtains dirty and all.
