James River Inn & Suites

Apparently we shared a room with roaches. The room was not very clean. The bathroom didn't even have a floormat for the shower. Overall it was disappointing / disgusting to wake up with a baby roach on my daughters pillow. Sad, because the location is perfect.

Positive: It was in a convenient location for me to get a little bit of business done. Negative: The most important aspect of a hotel is to have the rooms cleaned thoroughly before the next guest arrives. I should?ve took pictures of the refrigerator and freezer before I left to show the mold in there so I wouldn?t ever suggest it to anyone ever!

Worst motel I have ever stayed. The thinest of bath towels, and only one per person. When we asked for more, we got two more thin towels. Cracked bathtub. Dirty end stands. Unsafe door with no secure lock. Room decor -zero. Questionable people out and about. Children riding bikes. Seemed like homeless housing or start over interim housing. Dirty. Unpleasant. Don't be fooled by the bargain budget price. You get exactly what you pay for here, and even less.

Not fancy top of the line. Clean hotel. Towels are small. Serviceable. They dried my fat butt just fine with one towel. No ironing board, or iron, shampoo, or hair drier, coffee maker. Large parking around back if you are pulling a trailer. Old yes. Maintained well. Check in was easy. Dinning places are a bit away, 3/4 mile, easy in and out of the lot onto the highway. Clean sheets. Plenty of lawn area inside court yard for the children to play corn hole, or lawn darts. I would stay here again. There was a post about a hooked walking the halls, there are no halls here. The rooms are patio level or balcony. No USB ports in the room. Rooms being renovated. Did not see dopers either.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything it was dirty the showers are big enough for a toddler and the handles were falling off also the door was still slightly open even when locked. And it also smelled like a dumpster
