Exceptional Stay at Newark Main Street, Delaware,||||Discoverist check-in to check-out, everything at this hotel was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and easy. At my Discoverer status, everything was handled perfectly — I received my complimentary water, was briefed on the area, and given the hours for all amenities. ||||The hotel features an excellent bar both inside and outside, and the bonus was the patio doors that open right out to the outdoor seating area — a great touch! ||||The breakfast team was truly outstanding. They were friendly, funny, and made the morning enjoyable while catering to every guest’s needs. I thought the hotel itself was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is great! Every staff member was very nice and helpful. The only issue we had was with coordination of our wedding hotel block. We had to scramble to get other hotels for our guest when this hotel told us suddenly they couldn't accommodate anymore guest. We also had to reach out to them to find this out, they didn't communicate this to us. They did help organize a smaller block at another hotel close by but this ended us having guest stay at 3 different hotels.

Great location. Nice people for sure but very misleading info on the website. The “suite” is a literal shoebox, not close to 449 sq ft. In addition the area of hotel we were in is over the outdoor sitting area/firepit and expect noise until midnight so if going for something you need a good night sleep wouldn’t stay in that area of the hotel.

We had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Place on Main Street in Newark, Delaware. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with plenty of storage for clothing and belongings. The Green Mansion Bar was such a fun spot — perfect for relaxing and enjoying a drink before heading out. The location could not have been better. Being right on Main Street meant we could park once and easily walk to all of the great bars, restaurants, and shops in town. Another highlight was the breakfast buffet — absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the day. What made it even more special was the wonderful staff working there.
