Hilton Wilmington/Christiana

I didn't book a room. Our company Christmas party was there. Everything was nice. The food was good. I had chicken with bruschetta on top. It also came with green beans and red skin potatoes. Everything was tasty, though when serving that amount of people, it's hard to keep everything hot. Dessert was amazing. One of, if not the best cheesecakes I have ever eaten. Perfect consistency. Not dense, like cheesecake can often be. With a raspberry sauce... Was not disappointed in the least.

Let me start off with saying I had a wonderful stay for my wife’s bday and the assist mgr in duty was very accommodating and spirited. Upon my arrival I was made aware that I could no longer use my $100 gift card that was given to me by a business associate. Even though I called to verify the gift card usage prior to my arrival. The assistant mgr free drinks at the bar and a free breakfast coupon to help smooth things over which was much appreciated. He then gave me the number to call back and voice my concerns with the Hotel Mgr When calling back into the Hotel I spoke with the Office mgr NOT the Hotel mgr and she kept repeating how wrong I was and how right they are. I just wanted to be heard and she was very disrespectful, dismissive and demeaning. I never once asked for anythin

Greetings, travelers. I hope you are reading this review of the Hilton Christiana. The $ 10 parking fee is a scam. Why are they charging you this fee? Just not fair! As I walked all the way back to my car, I noticed how virtually nobody had paid this fee. We are in Delaware! I was on my way to New York from North Carolina, and this Hotel is in great proximity to the Christiana Mall. The rooms were old and dirty; my room was infested with Fruit Flies. The Hotel front desk will adamantly deny this claim, but it was quickly apparent that this location was utilized to house undocumented folks. I have nothing against undomiciled/homeless Delawareans. However, Hotel management should advise everyone of the rule and stress that it's not appropriate to roam the halls with a "Beat Box" - playing al

Positive: The location is great.. it's near the highway, and great restaurant options Negative: Initally, I had king bed near the gym. When I went into the room, it smelled strongly of cigar smoke. I made the front desk aware. They didn't have any other king beds so they offered 2 queen beds upstairs. I'm 6ft 1, 210. The bed was too small.

HVAC is LOUD. TVs had issues the first week my company was there. Neither of which will be resolved. Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet is okay but it’s not worth $20. The servers m-f in the buffet area are wonderful, though. Get the omelette station! Best part. Never really had great food at the hotel restaurant. Hit or miss. Better service at the bar. Gym is small and doesn’t have many options. Concierge service was wonderful and prompt. Careful, you have to pay for a parking pass. Oh and we saw hookers multiple nights. Hotel clearly doesn’t care. Close to highways and the mall. Plenty of food options nearby.
