Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst

I had an extremely pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst. The room was spacious. The location is convenient to Williamsville where there are a number of restaurants. The highlight of my visit was seeing Dave at the front desk every morning. I've never had this kind of friendly and personable experience at a major brand hotel. Dave was the highlight but the other folks working at the front desk were also super helpful. I hope to make it back next year. Thank you for a great stay.

Conveniently located if you are planning on attending a Buffalo Bills game or heading to the airport. There were many stores located close by. The pool and spa were great for the kids. They served a free hot breakfast every morning. We traveled with about 30 family members for a birthday party and then attending the Bills game on Sunday with some family coming from Connecticut and others from Canada. It was a great meeting place. They even sold some Bills clothing in case you didn't have any. The hotel did a great job in making sure that all of our rooms were located right next to each other. We have traveled in large groups before and some hotels were not as accommodating. We were able to rent out two of their meeting rooms on Saturday night to have a party in there. We stayed in room with 2 queen beds for 4 adults and 1 child. The pull out sofa bed was not very clean but we have brought a sleeping bag just in case. Other than that, the room is clean and ok. Hotel provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gel but housekeeping perhaps have missed checking it as the shower gel has run out. We just stayed for 1 night, so didn’t bother to call housekeeping to refill. And remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.Breakfast was better than I thought. They offer variety of breads( bagel, toast, french toast) , juice ( orange/ apple) fruits, yogurt, breakfast sausage and eggs and drinks including Coffee tea chocolate milk. View from 6/F was nice

Booked this place because I saw it had great reviews. The initial appearance of the hotel is very nice. Site is very clean and it has a nice curb appeal. The location was great for us….near Bills stadium, Niagara Falls, Canada and downtown Buffalo. The breakfast each morning was great, lots of options, great seating area, and wonderful front desk staff. What bothered me was the housekeeping. I know for a fact our sheets were not changed because my nail polish was breaking off and I would find it in the bed. Not that that’s a huge concern but when you pay for a hotel I thought clean linen was a give in. On top of that they would take away our dirty towels but not give us new fresh towels. Also, our phone was not working so every time we needed something we had to walk down to the front desk

Came for an overnight stay because my daughter had her dental school interview. Hotel was very conveniently located with ample parking. Room was clean and spacious. Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was adequate. Coffee could be a bit stronger, but that's what I like. They were testing the water and left notice that water might be out for about two hours. Because of this, I asked for a late check out so I have time to shower before I left. They were able to accommodate me on short notice. Small gym, but there is an indoor pool and hot tub.
