Hotel Indigo Jacksonville-Deerwood Park by IHG

Great place. Spent 2 nights for business trip. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Nice location close to great shopping. Lobby had a fun bar and restaurant. Staff was so friendly and helpful. And big shout out to Chef Steven. Not only is he a great chef but was sooo helpful to guests when the power went out (nearby transformer was hit). I will definitely be back.

The Hotel Indigo at Deerwood Park is my home away from home. I travel here at least monthly for business.|The staff here treats me like family and the setting of the hotel is beautiful. It’s on a dead-end in Tapestry Park, overlooking a beautiful pond. They have a great little bar/restaurant where I at least have a drink every time I come. They have a new chef that whips up some fantastic food including some fried chicken that tastes like Mom cooked it. Also, many other more sophisticated dishes, salads, etc.|The location is convenient… just 5 minutes away from Town Center with all it’s shopping and restaurants but not right in the middle of all the associated congestion, noise and traffic.|They also have a sweet little pool and hot tub combo that are in a nicely landscaped and very privat

Positive: I loved the lake and little walking path next to it. And the front desk staff were wonderful at checkin and checkout. Negative: The room was as if it had not been cleaned. There was dirt and bobbypins on the ground when entering the room. Hair on the floor and walls of shower. Kids running up and down the hall in middle of night. Not what I expected.

I really enjoyed the lake view. They also have a wonderful walking trail beside it. It is perfect for a nice relaxing morning walk. It was a lovely touch. The front desk team was also fantastic, making both check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. They even helped us upgrade our room when it was not up to standard. The first room we were given did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was dirt and hair clips on the floor when we walked in, along with hair on the floor, shower walls, and even on the bed. It was not cleaned at all. I contacted the front desk, and they promptly moved us to a different room without any hesitation.
