Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield, VA

Positive: We like the amenities. Negative: There was no slide-in door that separated the bathroom from the vanity area.

It was a fantastic day. The staff was incredibly friendly, although I’m not sure about the parking situation. You have to pay to park on-site. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, I had no issues. The service was great, and the location was excellent. I definitely plan to stay again! 😁

I have had to ask four different times for my room to be cleaned. There are large spider webs and dead carpet beetles on the walls. Michael at the front desk wrote it down in their log book and said someone would take care of it, but 24 hours later the bugs and spider webs are still there. I went back to the front desk and they wanted to write it down in the same book again. I then called twice, and Michael told me there was no manager available and that he would come up himself. When he finally came to the room, he brought a bucket of water and asked me which walls needed to be cleaned. He also mentioned he didn’t have much time to be looking around because he was training two employees. The lack of follow-up, cleanliness, and basic customer service at this hotel is extremely disappoint

DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed for one night for a friends gift exchange. I woke up to my car broken into, no tires and my car sitting on cinder blocks. Another car near mine was vandalized with the windows smashed. There are no cameras patrolling the premises at all. The people at the front desk were extremely nonchalant and acted as if this is an everyday occurrence. I have stayed here multiple times in the past, and will never stay here again nor recommend anyone stay here.

This hotel is okay. The room was nice and a good value although you can tell it's a little older. The service was okay, some people really don't care that much here, but a couple made up for it. Shout out to Mr. Chang and Jason the bartender! One heavy hit to our comfort here was that the fire alarm went off during our stay due to lowered water pressure in the fire suppression system from a frozen pipe. The scuttlebutt was that this happens every few weeks. The staff didn't seem to care too much about how this affected us as guests. Another big negative is the lack of pool, despite the photos of it online. The paid parking garage is narrow and the special hybrid/ low emission parking is not enforced, so we couldn't use that particular perk due to the SUVs that felt more entitled to those
