Courtyard by Marriott Springfield

Omg! What a truly candid, swift, and eloquent front-desk service I received from Mr. Hasan, Front Desk Supervisor at Courtyard. His quick understanding of my knee pain and the visible fatigue on my face was remarkable. In less than four minutes, he completed the entire check-in process with genuine care and efficiency. An amazing and highly commendable service experience - Mr. Hasan truly exemplifies outstanding hospitality!!!!!

I believe I had a recently renovated room which I do appreciate, as well as the early check in. Staff members I interacted with were pleasant enough. Room was comfy, quiet, and had a nice TV with plenty of channels and easy to attach your own Roku device. Wifi worked very well. However, there were a TON of maintenance issues that maybe they are already addressing since they are painting the building currently. Toilet lever kept getting stuck and would flush the toilet several times. When I arrived it was continuously running. The HVAC unit had to be kept on all the time because if you let it cycle it sounded like a bearing was loose on the motor and it would squeak. There are no ice machines where they should be. I drove all the way from South Carolina to come visit my daughter for her birthday. I found this room because it had an indoor pool, which was the entire reason that I booked. I am extremely unhappy with this stay because the pool was down the entire weekend for maintenance. When a service is stated to be provided and those needs can’t be met, I believe it’s very unfair to charge a full price for services that can not be rendered. Super upsetting.

Out of all the Marriot hotels I've stayed at this is by far one of my favorite places to stay! The front desk, bistro, and housekeeping staff are all so friendly and super attentive. Everyone is also super accommodating which I really appreciate. The rooms are spacious and super clean, so I'll always recommend this location to anyone I know :)

Positive: "" Negative: The cable tv reception was very poor, the extra expense for parking in the lot, poor lighting in the room, bugs in room, and the on-site restaurant lacked variety. I would not stay at this location again.
