Extended Stay America Suites- Washington D.C. - Springfield

I had a wonderful 11-day stay at this hotel! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel is actually much nicer in person than it looks in the Google images, the photos don’t do it justice. A special thank you to Syed at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. He truly made the experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed at both Alexandria and Springfield locations with my kiddo while she starts her first year of college, and this has been an absolute nightmare. Both locations are filthy, poorly managed, and unprofessional.|Alexandria Location:|Everything was pre-authorized and confirmed, yet the manager Hodan acted as if we weren’t booked. I had to stand at the front desk for long periods while staff ignored paying guests. Another guest was using someone else’s bank card while being constantly assisted, yet my kiddo couldn’t pay with my card despite everything being on file. Hodan fabricated details, smiled in my face, then talked about us behind our backs. Thankfully, Nyo was professional and helped us get settled. Victor started well but disappointed later. Positive: The location was great. Plenty of choices for dining. Negative: The elevator was broken, which made it difficult to move around, especially with luggage. I had to make requests for dishes, cups from the front desk and walk the stairs with those items. The stay was very disappointing.
