Comfort Inn Springfield

Stayed for a couple days for a work trip. Rooms were clean and smelled nice, sheets were clean and soft. Hotel was overall clean and seemingly well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful in helping me find local places to eat. Staff was also very helpful with the reservations changes I had to make because of the storm that rolled through and delayed my trip. And they have vending machines that take cards, which was helpful.

This hotel was just ok. Customer service was fine but the hotel is old and needs updating. The elevator is old and creaks. Our room was clean, and beds comfortable. The door to the bathroom had water damage and didn’t look good. Water pressure in sink and shower was awful. We stayed on the 2nd floor and there was a wedding reception going on. I heard partying and music when I went to bed but the air conditioning kind of drowned it out so that wasn’t too bad. Breakfast was just average. Coffee bleh!! I had friends that stayed on the 4th floor and said there was construction going on there. I was happy that the beds and room were clean but otherwise it was just ok.

The hotel is old, dirty and dingy with an overall creepy atmosphere. The sheets on the bed were dirty with food stains, the beds were solid rocks although the pillows were decent. The breakfast was “ok” I appreciated the individuals wrapped muffins and chocolate milks. During our stay the fire alarm went off at 4am and that was eventful. For the price I’d try anywhere else before returning here.

The hotel rooms themselves are ok and found them clean and comfortable size. The front desk and housekeeping services leave a lot of room for improvements, as it was too difficult to obtain basic supplies while there 6 days; housekeeping never responded and front desk staff only had tissue available. The hot breakfast daily was a full meal option as well as pasteries, fruit, and selection of breads and juices. The nightly prices are better when booked online. Overall, a good option for the price.

It was a very nice stay at the motel. Not only did they have free parking which everyone else in the whole area of charges for parking but it was very convenient to shopping centers and dining experiences. The motel offered a free shuttle to the beeline which was also very nice so we did not have to drive there and pay for parking . The staff at Comfort Inn was very helpful and very pleasant to work with . The free breakfast was very good and they had lots of choices including healthy ones. The motel was very clean and it was under renovation and even the areas that was under renovation was still kept clean. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there every time we want to visit Washington DC.
