Homewood Suites by Hilton Phoenix/Chandler

I loved the atmosphere in this hotel. It’s cosy and you feel like you’re at home. Rooms are ok, breakfast is basic, one pool was heated, the big one was chill. There’s coffee whole day available. Perhaps not super elegant hotel, but I liked the friendly vibe there so I would gladly come back.

Positive: It had suites at a reasonable rate. The breakfast was exceptional! Negative: Room was not cleaned upon arrival. The sofa bed had food crumbs/debris in it. Graffiti in bathroom and tub didn’t drain. Faucets not installed properly, visible dirt on floors. Hot tub out of order which was a booking incentive.

Absolutely filthy room 101. I've stayed at 200+ Hilton properties around the world and this is so bad that I had to write a review. Bathroom room trashed and no stopper, I wouldn't sit in it anyway, dust bunnies on HVAC vent and radialy on the ceiling from the fan, one bed 6" from wall, had to get on the bed to close the drapes, ripped bed sheets. TV in kitchen area with no broadcast stations, no staff solution besides "how long are you staying?". The kitchenet area was great with full size fridge. In short stay a Hampton Inn next door or Double Tree across the street. Disappointing it even has a Hilton brand name on it.

The service is extremely poor, they don’t tell you that you have to take off your do not disturb sign by 6:30 am if you want them to do housekeeping. Therefore you have to go downstairs every single day to get needed supplies like towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. My children were annoyed that the pool was so cold and that they had to sit in the lukewarm hot tub. INSANE!!!! But the worst part is when the toilet got clogged, and they were expecting ME to unclog it. And there’s only one person manning the WHOLE hotel that only has one room left which wouldn't accommodate my family. The staff person said this is what you get with a budget hotel! At these prices, I wouldn’t consider this a budget hotel!! It was only until I asked to speak to the manager, that the single staff member came

Best hotel of our trip so far. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in around 6:30ish December 17th was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean, things were ready for us. The only bad thing about it was a lack of decent breakfast options
