Hometown Inn & Suites

It was okay to me. I mean minus the weed smoking and loud music they ask that person to leave. But overall I loved ot big comfy bed. Well working shower🚿. Id stay again next time I'm in Jacksonville.

We stayed here on February 14, 2026 for a work trip. We returned late that evening and immediately noticed the room was filthy. There were cockroaches in the room and a very strange, unpleasant smell in the hallway. We were exhausted and didn’t even have the energy to deal with the insects crawling on the walls. The worst part happened later. I started feeling extremely itchy during the night. It turned out to be bed bugs. At 5:00 AM, I woke up my co-worker and we immediately packed and left the hotel. I reported everything to the front desk and requested a full refund, since we had paid for three nights but could not stay due to the unsanitary and unsafe conditions. The front desk employee did not seem surprised when I mentioned bed bugs, which is very concerning. Since then — complete

The hotel was okay, not a lot of amenities. Breakfast was very simple. Staff was REALLY RUDE.Staff kept asking questions in regards of our dogs being service animals. My dogs are super well behaved and have never shown any signs of aggression. Staff members kept looking at us and would make faces ever time we walked our dogs to go out to potty. Overall the hotel was alright.

Not worth the money. Don’t go here if you don’t want to deal with extremely lazy staff and crew, including the manager, who is an intrusive old man. You better invest in a more expensive hotel than staying here with people who clearly have no manners or professionalism.

If I could give a ZERO for all I would! Room smelled awful. Dirty! Beds awful. Pillows awful. The so called breakfast had muffins and bagels in bags. No hot water. Not even cereal or milk. Rude staff. Loud. Also had bed bugs which we did not realize until it was too late and my husband woke up with bites on his legs, arms, and head. When we called to inform them they said, "ok" and seemed ok with it and not surprised and definitely are not going to fix the issue! Please do NOT stay here esp with children!!!! There are many other hotels surrounding this one to pick instead!!!
