This hotel has definitely seen better days. While the room was clean, the furniture looked like it came from a secondhand store. The room was also probably the smallest room I’ve ever had at any hotel. ||The doors are not soft shut so you hear every slammed door. Overall, the hotel feels sad, the hallways are dimly lit and the hotel has an overall sense of dismay. ||It feels more like a Days Inn than a Holiday Inn. If you need a clean place for a night it’s fine but I would look to the other hotels in the area if at all possible. ||Checkin was quick and easy and every member of the staff I encountered was friendly and welcoming. ||Bottom line, this hotel could use a major renovation or a reflag based upon its current state.

February 2025... This was my first scheduled layover during the beginning of the month of February. Upon walking through the front doors you get a sense of an upscale stay. However, upon opening my hotel room door it's underwhelming and definitely doesn't fit the first impression you get when first entering the hotel. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed the time to explore the hotels pool, gym, or any other amenities due to the limited time I had. During my short (minimum rest) stay I was informed transportation between the hotel was limited to only the airport. I would like to point out however there is a fast food McDonald's just to the side of the hotel but I definitely recommend stopping in for a nice drink and upscale experience in the hotel restraunt O'Malley's Pub. This hotel is about 1 km from the Crystal City Metro Station, and about 200 ms from a CVS Pharmacy Store which is open 24 hours. A McDonalds is right outside the hotel, which is super convenient for a quick snack. There is free airport shuttle, but understand at some times, there is insufficient capacity for guests. For example, I arrived at 10:00pm at DCA Airport, after waiting the 30 mins for the shuttle at the airport, it arrived with no room for luggage or passengers. Told there was one more shuttle coming, (another 30 mins) so I decided to take lyft/uber for $20 to the hotel, with another guest from the hotel. Good location, rooms are clean. A little dated, furniture showing its age. Service was very good, but didn't clean on a two day stay. Shuttle was clean, runs promptly on the hour and half hour. Several places to eat within a short walk. Breakfast coupons provided good options in one of the two hotel restaurants.
