Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kansas City Airport by IHG

The hotel was good, clean. The people were nice but tell me why they have SPOTLIGHTS shining directly into the room!!!! Made for a terrible quality of sleep. Would not recommend at all.

My overall stay was okay. The check-in process wasn’t bad and the team was very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The room itself was a little outdated, but it was functional for what I needed. Unfortunately, it was pretty noisy. I could hear doors slamming early in the morning and footsteps and movement from the room above me, which woke me up several times throughout the night. Parking was also difficult and somewhat limited, which added a bit of inconvenience. The staff was kind and helpful, but with a few updates and better sound control, the experience would be much better.

We enjoyed our stay here. The area of town is a lot less crowded and quieter for that reason, and a lot less traffic. The front desk staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast amazing, the lobby well decorated and inviting. My only complaint was that the pool was too cold to swim in, even for my kids and that's saying something. There was also no bedding in the room for the pullout bed, but they brought it when I called them, as soon as they were able. Overall a very nice stay and just what we needed.

What an amazing experience! We booked another hotel that we had to leave due to cleanliness. The staff was able to quickly accommodate us with a room even though they were booked due to a soccer tournament. The lady at the front desk, I forgot her name, overhear us talking and recommend great lunch/dinner spots. The other gentleman who helped checked us in, helped us with our tire issue! The staff on Saturday morning went above and beyond. They truly exemplified customer service and we are so greatful.

The Holiday Inn Express near MCI was very nice. The rooms have been upgraded and the bathroom mirror doesn't fog! The breakfast was hot and good. The service was good. The shuttle service took 7 minutes to get to the airport. Just tell the front desk the time you need to leave ( after 4:30 AM) and you will be dropped off at your gate.
