The breakfast was great with longer hours for service, IMO. Good selection of food. Please do better with the home fries or don't serve them, though. King suite had ample space and clean. Door wouldn't lock because of mechanical issue and Jane at front desk was quick to resolve the issue and move me next door. LPT, always make sure door locks before unpacking the entire suitcase & puttingclothes in drawes. Location was convenient. Fresh brew on demand coffee all day, is a nice touch. I'd stay again.

I had an absolutely perfect experience at the Holiday Inn Express. From start to finish, the stay was spectacular.|The staff provided an incredibly warm welcome and the check-in was seamless. My room was spotlessly clean with an exceptionally comfortable bed, ensuring a restful sleep.|Every interaction and service was flawless. Highly recommended—five stars!

Husband and I spend 3 days 2 nights here and the whole purpose was for us to get the hot tub. The tub jets didn't work. I was very upset. Everything else was good. Just recommend anyone getting all the extra in room to ask and make sure you are getting what you pay for. We could have got a regular room if I would have know that. We did notify front desk and she really didn't do anything but say she would have to let maintenance or whomever know. They never came by or fixed the problem. Breakfast was good though. Shoutout to Taylor and Ms. June. Those ladies were awesome!!!!

Over the last several years we have spent many enjoyable stays at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Mayport Road in Jacksonville Florida. Over the years, we got to know most of the staff and made memorable relationships. We love this hotel because of its location being 10 minutes from the beaches, access to great seafood restaurants and the relaxing nature of the hotel itself. The hotel was newly renovated in the last 2 years and shows very well. The owner and his staff treat you like family and always go above and beyond to make your stay the best ever ! The hotel s quiet, the rooms clean and comfy and the breakfast awesome ! If you have a chance to experience a stay at this hotel, please do as you will not regret it !

My stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville – Atlantic Beach from January 14–15, 2026 was unsatisfactory due to serious issues involving billing transparency, documentation refusal, and product quality. At check-in, I requested an invoice for my stay. The front desk agent stated that an invoice could not be provided because my reservation was made through Booking.com. This statement is incorrect. Booking.com’s policy clearly indicates that only the property can issue a valid invoice for tax purposes. I have previously booked through Booking.com at other hotels and received proper invoices without issue. Although my reservation was paid in full in advance, I was required to pay an additional deposit at the property. No receipt or invoice was provided for this charge. My bank stat
