Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chaffee-Jacksonville West by IHG

We stayed one night on our way further south. The hotel is newly renovated, the lobby is warm and welcoming as is the attentive staff. ||Our room was nicely decorated with plenty of space and beautifully clean. Wall mounted Dove products were a nice touch, much better than the containers hotels sometimes refill.||Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with something for everyone. The food stations - again- clean and well maintained.||The small on-site fitness was perfectly adequate for workouts but as travelers, we didn’t use it.||This is one of 4 hotels in this little “hotel park” area- all within walking distance of each other and several restaurants. We stayed at Hampton across the street last spring. It was disappointing to put it mildly. We will definitely come back the next time we trave

I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Chaffee Jacksonville West hotel! The hotel was very clean, and all staff members that I interacted with throughout my visit were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and there was a wide variety of food and beverage options for every taste, from fruit to cheese omelettes to cereal to sausage. The outdoor pool is small and only 5-feet deep, but it was very relaxing and kept up nicely. This hotel is located in an area with several other hotels and is walking distance to a Cracker Barrel, which I enjoyed eating at each night of my stay. The hotel is nearly 40 minutes from the beaches though, so keep that in mind if you are looking for a place to stay near the Jacksonville beaches. I would highly recommend this

On Sunday, October 19, 2025 my 3 sisters and I stopped at this Holiday Inn, very tired from driving. Fran checked all 4 of us in with patience and such efficiency it made the whole process go very smoothly. We were talking, etc. sometimes all at once, as family tend to do, while she was checking us in! |Fran was never frustrated (as I probably would have been!) but always a smile for us and we really appreciated her customer service. ||This Holiday Inn location is exceptional not only for their cleanliness but also for their staff, all of which seem focused on making your stay as comfortable as possible. Hotel was great. Thank you for taking the doggies! The soap was out, so that was not good when you take a shower and it was out! They didn't offer to do anything...so that was a little surprising. Other than that the hotel was good...

Very clean room. The people at the front desk were very nice. Decent breakfast spread. Thankful they are pet friendly too, as we travel with our dog.
