Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Univ Area by IHG

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. No ventilation in bathroom so that was a little annoying.Hard to get in and out of lot due to high traffic, but plenty of parking. Was NOT impressed by the breakfast. Stayed 2 nights and didn't even bother going back the second day. Set up was crazy and food was not cooked properly. Cups in the lobby. Plates near the cereal not the buffet or pancake station. Pankcaje station was very dirty and out of regular pancake mix and syrup in the containers.

Good location with plenty of surrounding restaurants etc. room was great - modern, quiet and very comfortable. Stayed for 3 nights - had to ask several times to get room serviced - should not be case. Disappointed by breakfast - plentiful but served on cheap foam plates with plastic cutlery and no paper napkins - lots of unnecessary plastic waste. Overall - should be better for this brand / price point.

Great place for a stopover night. Not sure I would want to spend more than one night. HVAC was very noisy, and some traffic noise. Walking distance to several restaurants. Comfy bed.

Very nice and clean hotel. Free hot breakfast in the morning aswell. Prime location and the staff are very helpful. Big shout-out to Teresa!!! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Will always stay here from now on when we visit Charlottesville

We've had an unpleasant experience with staying at this hotel for 1 night. The worst part was the customer service by the front desk lady. We've had 2 access cards for myself and my wife. My wife was sleeping in the room, and I had to go out and when I went back at 1:00 AM my access card wasn't working. I asked the receptionist lady to fix my card; she did something at her computer but that didn't work. I came back to her and asked to fix it once again but was told that she did everything she could and that I literally "HAVE TO WAKE UP MY WIFE" to open a door for me. I told her that I don't want to wake her up. Then she told me that otherwise they will have to get someone to fix/replace the door lock in my room. She was extremely rude and not willing to help at all. So, I had to finally wa
