Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville JTB/Deerwood Park

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Deerwood Park in Jacksonville, FL and had a great overall experience. Brenda was amazing during check-in—super sweet, welcoming, and very prompt in getting everything set up. She really made the arrival smooth and pleasant. Orley was just as impressive during check-out. He was very professional, courteous, and made sure everything was handled quickly and efficiently. Great customer service from both of them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the property itself is very well maintained. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping the hotel looking nice. My only complaint would be the pool and jacuzzi area. Both were noticeably dirty, and the jacuzzi unfortunately didn’t have hot water during my stay. Aside from that issue, everything e

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip glad after a client recommended it. This was an excellent choice, check in was fast and easy and I got excellent advice on local restaurants nearby of which there are many well within walking distance. I especially liked Millers Ale House but that is for another review! Beaches are close and once again the front desk person gave us good directions. It is always good to speak with a local who can give clear directions and obviously knows their town. Everyone working here was friendly and approachable, and the lobby and room was exceptionally clean which I've found can be hit or miss in Florida beach town hotels.

The front entry and check-in experience were very pleasant. The customer service staff were incredibly friendly, and there was a small “happy hour” area that appeared to be enjoyed by several couples. The check-in process itself was smooth and efficient. However, I would like to address the new policy regarding daily parking fees. When I inquired about parking after noticing the QR code in the lot, I was informed that the charge would be $10 per day. I then asked whether the parking lot is monitored by staff or equipped with security cameras, and I was advised that neither of these measures are in place. Very busy area and clean hotel. My only complaint is that the beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. My husband didn't sleep at all. Super flat pillows. We only stayed 1 night. Everyone was very nice though.
