Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Downtown Southbank

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites dual brand hotel in Jacksonville, FL, and I have to specifically recognize Sevdra at the front desk for making our stay exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Sevdra was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and professional. She greeted me with such positive energy that it instantly set the tone for my trip. Her warm personality and genuine kindness made check-in smooth and enjoyable. It’s clear she truly cares about guests and takes pride in her work. Beyond the outstanding service at the front desk, the hotel itself was excellent. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the service throughout the property was top-notch, and the location in Jacksonville is convenient and ideal for both business and leisure travel

What a pleasant Hilton to stay at. I travel every month and stay at Hiltons around the country. They are typically always good experiences, but this one was excellent. Loads of covered parking available, a good breakfast in the morning, comfortable and clean rooms and bed. What was especially woderful were the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, but the most notable were Rose and Lillie at the front desk. Checking in and then out the next morning could not have been more pleasant. Great facilities are always important, but wonderful staff and experiences are what bring you back. I will absolutely stay here again on my next swing through Jacksonville.

Breakfast is not included except if it is prepaid for. There is buffet style and a menu to order. Coffee and tea bar is complimentary, they even have hot chocolate! Staff (Georgiana) is extremely friendly in the cafe! Room and lobby decor is dated. Pool and hot tub was pristine! Overall rating 7 out of 10 stars for me.

Positive: Room was very comfy and clean. Negative: Rude and condescending receptionist when I didn’t understand how to scan my goodies and the self service desk. Other than that it was a great experience.

Shoutout to Tasha - what great customer service she provided! She was great to work with and very understanding of our situation. She made our visit a positive experience. Hilton as a whole, needs to clarify what levels of their loyalty program gets parking included and/or breakfast included. Very confusing. Kudos to the nice man who was in-charge of trying to explain the situation to multiple guests.
