Hilton Garden Inn Columbia

This place is a nightmare! It's being remodeled by the qorst contractors ever. There sheetrock mud stains running down the hallway walls. The sink stopper in the restroom isn't attached. There's painters tape on the wall identifying leaks. Theres cover plates missing over electrical conduits. The safe provided to secure personal property will not function due to battery failure. The sink in the restroom appears to be caulked by an 8 year old with gobs of Silicon caulk inside the sink. The general contractors are rude to the guests. The tile floors are covered with residual glue and caulk. This place isn't a 3 star hotel.. Maybe a highway fleabag would be better!

It’s alright. I came back from a 4 night stay and had some issues with this location. 1. The rooms never seem to get serviced until you either check out or have to ask. During my stay there my room wasn’t serviced once. 2. The rooms themselves were fine, it looks like an office but they are freshly renovated. 3. The breakfast there seems to be very lackluster, it seems to be a notch lower than a Hampton Inn which surprises me. There’s nothing notable about the restaurant 4. The parking lot was my biggest issue. It snowed over the weekend there and the lack of salt on both the sidewalk and the parking lot is what scared me. Positive: Location to where we had to go. Negative: Hotel was under renovation. Toilet was way too low for elderly people. Breakfast was not included in hotel price.

Could hear people just walking around in their rooms above. Continental breakfast was not included and didn't look it was worth $10. Pool was was nice but small. Bed was comfortable but pull out bed was super rough.

So we've stayed here before and had no issue but after this weekend we will not be coming back until whatever renovation they are going through (that they gave us ZERO heads up about when we reserved it) is completely finished.||1). The hot tub is not only closed off with yellow caution tape, but it is just sitting there festering like a science project. The water is dark green and smells and I have no idea why it hasn't at least been drained. It was disgusting|2) these rooms are INFESTED with ants. I'm not talking a few here a couple there.....I'm talking literally hundreds and thousands per room. They hide when it's not food out but soon as they get the slightest whiff of a Cheeto or goldfish cracker they swarm like walking dead zombies. They are EVERYWHERE. We asked for them
