Hilo Vacation Rental

Great facility and room, we were so impressed! The host was very nice and created us right when we arrived to walk us through our stay. The location has a great view and is only 5 mins from downtown Hilo. It is right next to a busy road and does not have AC, so plann accordingly if you do not handle heat well or are a light sleeper. (Ear plugs worked great!) We stayed in winter so the temp was fine for us.

Tremendous space & person! I arrived late (after 8pm) as a surprise for my Family Reunion & so after dinner. The caretaker met me kindly after I got into the door (clear & simple instructions were given) to help me to get my bearings, carry my 2 carryons to my room & lead me to my room. He also provided a cold bottle of water, MUCH appreciated! I found the place to be very clean, spacious & well-organized with simple instructions in the bathroom, kitchen & shared spaces. I appreciate the simplicity & cleanliness, while still giving me my space! TY again for this last-minute booking that turned into a true treasure for myself as an introvert needing space, cleanliness & simplicity. Mahalo & May ke Akua bless U always! Dawn

We stayed 3 nights, it was a lovely place to stay. The kitchen is large and well equipped, bathrooms were clean and large. It’s a little out of town but only 7 minutes by car or bus.

So the entire reason for selecting this particular room was for the custom spa tub which has tiles broken and pitched up on the literal seat area of one of the seats. Unless you enjoy broken tiles wedged in your bum, that's a no for us, it also means the tiles are no longer sealed therefore cannot be properly sanitized. Ew. See pics. The house is nicely furnished, great layout, and tidy looking, but desperately needs a deep cleaning. The stairs railing alone is evident of this but the edges of the carpet have debris, so just a bare minimal type of cleaning is happening. The house was seemingly empty during our stay, so no real reason for things not being cleaned or maintained. There's cameras everywhere not just outside but inside too. Once I walked in it was very clean it had everything you needed to cook. They also had a fridge with water dispenser. I thought that was convenient. It literally felt like home.
