Hanna Park Campground

Nice campground close the the beach (walkable or bike). Lots of hiking trails and bike trails through the woods (dirt paths). Campground showers show there age and the era they were built, they are Usable. I would stay again. Morning beach walks are great. Close to other activities in Jacksonville.

We liked Hanna Park alot. Beach access is an easy walk. Really nice (we did) 3-mi AM walks with our dog. Sites are in the shade of the many palm trees. There's a lake there too (no swimming). Restaurants, grocery, etc. all within a short drive outside this gated campground. There is a laundry bldg there which is adequate. Sites offered 3-way hookup. We arrived in the dark -- we wouldn’t do that again. Sites placement is (could be considered) "cozy", with some offering more privacy than others. Good vibes here, with a mix of young families, couples, and full-timers. We booked 5 nites and would do a full week next time.👍👍

Hannah Park Campground was a really pleasant experience overall. Check-in was easy and smooth, and our campsite was ready right on time, which made settling in stress-free. The grounds were very clean and well maintained, and it was clear that care is taken to keep everything orderly and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean as well, though a couple of additional shower heads would definitely help during busier times. What stood out most was how quiet it was. It felt peaceful and relaxing, and no one bothered us, which made it easy to truly unwind and enjoy being outdoors. There’s so much to do without it feeling overwhelming. 2nd week in on a month stay, I like it for the most part. Although we have not used the bathrooms or showers, we did use the laundry which was adequate, I have three dislikes, though they can be dealt with, 1. The clearances driving in and out, sharp narrow drives, low hanging limbs and trees. 2. The reviews state some sights may flood if it rains, and the others appear to be absurdly unlevel, thats a 29inch bike in the picture 3. The sewer connections at every site are also absurdly high with an elbow at the top

The park is absolutely beautiful. It's been quiet for our stay and the campground host was extremely courteous. The bath house could use some extra attention as the showers were not great clean wise, but it is a campground, not the Marriott. The ocean view was wondrous as was the drive through the park. We stayed in cabin #11 and it was large enough for a queen size air mattress plus our cooler and two chairs. The screened in porch is a very nice touch. Each cabin also has an air conditioner and ceiling fan as well as a broom and dust pan for quick cleanup before you leave.
