Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville-Airport

It was a convenient location to the airport and a good shopping area . Our check-in was easy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The holiday decor was cheerful and welcoming. The breakfast had a good variety of items, all of which were yummy. We had a smooth check-out. We will definitely stay here again.

Location and the rate was great! Close to the airport and with restaurants all around and plenty of spacious parking. Now for the downside, the rooms are severely outdated and the property needs a remodel. I am a Diamond member and had to ask for the water when I arrived to the front desk and I did not receive any snacks. I didn't mind about the snacks but just that experience tells me plenty about the customer service at this property. Needs improvement big time! Definitely not staying at this property again.

For those complaining about the location there are 3 restaurants within walking distance. There is also a HUGE shopping center about a 2 mile drive away with a LOT of options! The room here was older but was clean on our stay. Camara at check-in was very nice every time we saw her. The breakfast was good except wished it had some fresh fruit.

Spent the night here before a cruise from Jacksonville cruise port. Great location! Had a very nice dinner at the Longhorn Steak House which is right next door and the in-house breakfast was very good. Price was great at $102. Very clean and a nice staff. It was a perfect stop before the cruise. It took us 40 minutes to get from the hotel parking to the Atrium Bar on the ship, enjoying our first cocktail! Will do the same next cruise from JAX!

When having to leave for an early morning flight, I tend to book a room at a hotel near the airport for the sake of time and limiting the stress of morning traffic! A stay at the Hampton Inn prior to beginning my vacation started it off on the right foot! Parking was a breeze! Check-in was quick and fun! My husband likes to try to embarrass me in front of people we don’t know but this time it backfired on him! The hotel staff quickly realized his intentions and played along with me dishing it right back at him. The room was very spacious! The furnishings were expertly chosen with the flow of the room in mind! The bed felt like heaven with a pillow-top mattress and extra pillows!
