Hampton Inn Charlottesville

Check in was easy, Cathy was very accommodating, hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants and a Kroger, rooms are smaller than average but they have been recently redone, shower was hot with decent power and bed was comfortable with a good working air conditioning system. Breakfast was well attended and was your basic hampton fair, would not hesitate to stay here again.

Clean rooms, comfortable, quiet and safe area. Friendly staff. Hilton, provide them with a larger budget for better quality breakfast ingredients. They prepare it the best they can, but the waffle batter tastes like cardboard.

Positive: Love that it has been renovated. Breakfast is great. Beds are comfortable. Negative: The hotel needs to stay up on keeping it looking nice. Floors in the hallways and entrance needed vacuuming. The bathroom floor corners and baseboards needed cleaning in our room and the bathroom vanity drawers, one white, one wood color.

Check in was easy. Employee was friendly and professional. Plenty of parking all the way around the hotel. Has a pool but closed till spring. Room clean and comfortable upon entering. Breakfast for guests in the morning as well. Shower worked great too.

Not sure if all Hamptons have made the switch but this Hampton had fantastic bedding, linen and pillows. Everything felt and even smelled great. Extra blankets in closet is always a plus. Check-in was fast, easy and friendly at fair price. Sorry I forgot the gentleman's name that was working. (Night of 1/6/26)
