Four Points by Sheraton Newark Christiana Wilmington

Katherine made my stay something to be remembered. She is the definition of hospitality. Katherine was so professional and friendly and went out of her way to make sure my time away from home felt like home. While talking to my wife and I, she mentioned she just took over management recently. I wanted to give her a shout out because her fresh new style has definitely created a better atmosphere throughout the hotel. Compared to my last visit and now, Katherine has created a vibe that I love so much!!!

Unfortunately, during our stay at the Four Points Hotel in Newark Delaware , our black cat somehow escaped from our room and so far we have been unable to find her. We are not sure where she could have went as we were on the fourth floor and cats usually cannot open doors and ride elevators but we’ve checked everywhere in our hotel room, and in as many of the rooms, hallways, stairwells, and general areas accessible to us in the building and outside. Each time we asked for help from the staff, they deferred us to the general manager, Michelle, who evaded our request for any sort of call back despite speaking with four different subordinate staff members. The Lower staff members were as helpful as they could be - but the assistance we really needed was from the manager, and she was extremel

Positive: The hotel Customer Service was exceptionally excellent. The front desk staff was very professional; he showed empathy and sympathy for my reason for being there, he took the time and effort to make sure my family and I had everything we needed. Negative: The only thing I did NOT LIKE about this hotel was we had to pay for our breakfast. I feel for the amount of money this hotel charges per night breakfast should have been included. Not a happy customer on the breakfast

We booked last minute on a road trip and needed to rest versus finish the drive and we are so pleased with our stay. Check in was smooth, the staff friendly both that evening and the morning we left. The hotel bar/restaurant staff was fantastic and super attentive; the burgers were absolutely delicious!||The property as a whole was very clean.

Extremely disappointed with my stay. From the moment I checked in, there were problems. My room had a clear bug infestation, and the maintenance person entered wearing flip-flops, stood on a chair, and used a tissue to kill the bugs — completely unprofessional and unsanitary. When I called the front desk, I was told it was “the season” and that they were “only ladybugs.” That response was unacceptable. I paid $300 for one night, and I should not have to deal with bugs in my room or dismissive service. I provided my name and number and was told a manager would call me — no one ever did. There was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to make things right. Sadly, this experience showed me how far customer service standards have fallen. I would not recommend this hotel.
