This is my go to when flying out early from Portland Jetport. This motel is very clean and well maintained. I booked direct and it was only $83. They were most appreciative and upgraded to a room with a gas fireplace . Nice touch. I have not gone swimming in either the indoor or outdoor pools. They used to have a restaurant pre Covid. I haven’t tried breakfast since my flights are very early. Nice Mexican restaurant across the street. Great value,

I have been staying here every so often while traveling for my job. The staff has always been kind and helpful. During my last stay I had some slight issues and the hotel manager, Peter, went far above and beyond to address my concerns. I can’t say enough good things about our interaction. Thanks to Peter I will only stay at this hotel while in Portland and recommend anyone else looking for a good place to stay to try fireside. Thank you again Peter!

Positive: HVAC is quiet and quickly adjusts temp. No waking up freezing or overheated Negative: Breakfast is a basket of granola bars by the coffee urns. They also have pre-made microwavable egg sandwiches, but they're tasteless and mushy.

Beds were comfy. Room was OK coffee was nasty. Breakfast was disgusting. Nothing anyone with diabetes could eat. The breakfast sandwich was on a dry biscuit that required you to microwave for a minute, bacon was soggy and I'm not sure if the egg was real. There were prepackaged muffins donuts and some kind of granola bar. As a diabetic there wasn't 1 thing I could eat that wouldn't put me in a diabetic coma. If breakfast is advertised it should include a breakfast for everyone. I couldn't see anyone over 8 liking that breakfast.

My family stayed here for 1 night. You definitely get what you pay for, the price is absolutely reasonable compared to other places around. We had an issue with our door opening so we called the front desk, the man came up to see and had to go back down to the desk to move us to a different room when he couldn't get it opened. When he came back he said he upgraded up but we didn't notice the up grade as it was the same as we reserved. The breakfast was boxes of cup of fruit, granola bars and coffee. Hallways were cold as well.
